Both doctors at Gooding Dental Health are fully accomplished in the art of restorative dentistry. This field of dentistry covers a wide array of procedures aimed at restoring function and aesthetics to compromised teeth.
Fillings
At our office, we use only tooth-colored filling material. Tooth-colored fillings, also called dental composites, create a better aesthetic result for our patients, while still providing a safe, long lasting, and reliable end product. Dental composites cause less damage to natural tooth structure and don't contain any mercury.
Restoring fillings is an essential part of any dental office and is a common procedure for us. Listening to your dentists' recommendation for having teeth filled can save you time and money and will help you keep your teeth for longer. Most patients need fillings when they have a cavity, however, fillings can also be used to fix minor chips or to cover up unattractive areas on teeth. Cosmetic bonding at our office is a cost effective way of enhancing your smile without having to commit to more permanent options.
Crown & Bridgework
Dental crowns, or caps, are a great way to fix a severely damaged or decayed tooth, and bridgework can replace a missing tooth all together. At Gooding Dental Health, our doctors utilize digital technology to make getting a crown or bridge a fast and simple process.
With the ability to digitally scan teeth that require crowns or bridges, we eliminate the need to take messy and uncomfortable impressions. Additionally, we have a CAD/CAM milling machine that our doctors use to make your crowns in the office the same day as your procedure. Our patients no longer have to leave with unsightly temporary crowns and return weeks later to get their final product. Instead, we can give our patients same day permanent crowns without needing multiple appointments.
Crown & bridgework not only gives you the option to restore the function of damaged or missing teeth, but can also help to preserve the aesthetics of your smile or even give you a new one. We have numerous shades and materials available that we can use to match your natural teeth or to give you the smile you've always wanted.
Removable Dentures
If you have lost some or all of your teeth, removable dentures are a great and cost effective option for you. Removable dentures give patients the ability to replace multiple teeth at once. With dentures, patients don't pay per tooth restored, as they do with other dental procedures. Instead, there is only one fee for the entire prosthetic that is the same regardless of how many teeth need to be replaced.
We offer several types of removable dentures. For patients who have only lost some of their teeth, removable partial dentures (RPD) are a great option to consider. With the choice of either an all acrylic RPD or a cast metal RPD, our doctors can help our patients choose the best fit for their needs.
For patients who have lost all of their teeth, complete dentures may be the right fit for you. Complete dentures can give patients back the ability to properly speak and chew foods while also giving them back their smiles. Our doctors can offer patients either traditional "suction seal" dentures, or implant supported dentures. While implant supported dentures may be more costly upfront, they offer much more support and stability than traditional dentures. Our doctors are happy to explain the differences of each option to help you find the right choice.
